F1 Drivers Reading 2018 – How did I do?

What does the 2018 F1 Season hold for…?

Looking through this reading, a lot of cards jumped out while being shuffled and a lot are reversed, I think a lot of things will be shaken up this year and a lot of things that should have stayed hidden will be known.

 Sebastian Vettel

Page of Pentacles (Jumped out when shuffling)

Now is the time to be cautious, you are practical, dependable and willing to work hard to gain new skills. This will serve you well this year as you find new ways to get the most out of your car this year, you must learn from last year’s mistakes.

I’m not sure about this, he did work steadily and gained new skills but he certainly didn’t learn from last year’s mistakes. I’d call this 50/50

 Kimi Raikkonen

Page of Swords R (Jumped out when Shuffling)

When upright this card represents a person who is curious and thoughtful someone who is willing to take risks and speak up. When reversed I feel this is someone who is going to become stale, take things easy and complain a lot about not getting what he’s due, in other words he’s not going to even try.

Again, not so sure about this, apart from the flash of brilliance in Austin it was another year of the same old Kimi, just driving to get paid. I think this is more of a yes than a no

Esteban Ocon

Queen of Cups

Pay attention to your intuitions and feelings, listen to what others are saying around you and learn from them. Listen to your heart as well as your dreams, your intuition will serve you well if you listen to it

Well this is a big fat bust, if he’d listened to his intuitions he’d have found himself a new seat when the rumours about Lawrence Stroll buying the team surfaced, even he must have known Lance would take his seat.

Sergio Perez

King of Wands (Jumped out when shuffling)

This King is full of pizzazz, charisma and Joie de Vie. He’s a great leader, charming, passionate and proud. This are great characteristics for a man who is a leader, show them if you want to show your team mate who is boss, if you strut your stuff, you will be the boss.

I think this is more bust than win, yes he showed flashes of the King of Swords but he also let his team mate walk all over him (or crash, depending on your view)

Romain Grosjean

8 of Swords

The picture on the card shows a bound and blindfolded woman surrounded by a fence of Swords. She thinks she is a prisoner and cannot escape so she doesn’t want to bother. The thing is she CAN escape, if she wants to and I think this is your problem. You are so busy blaming the car, the team, other drivers, tyres and tracks for your problems you are not seeing what you need to do to actually overcome the problem and escape the never ending cycle of complaints. Open your eyes and your mind and tell yourself you can overcome this.

I’d call this a win, Romain did well this year, more often than not in the top 10 and a lot of Q3 appearances, so he did overcome the bindings of poor workman blaming his tools like last year, but then the car was a lot better. He did well to break free of his reputation for being the Victor Meldrew of F1.

Kevin Magnussen

The Fool R (Jumped out when shuffling)

In an upright position the Fool stands for taking a leap of faith and starting a journey to find your dreams, reversed I think you’re sticking with the Status Quo. Last year you got yourself a reputation for being a reckless gobshite, this season you should be thinking of getting rid of that reputation and trying something new, but I don’t think you can be bothered. The Bad Boy of F1 image of last year got you headlines, albeit the wrong kind and you want to stay with it.

Again, I think this is more of a win than a bust, he certainly showed flashes of brilliance and kept his opinions to himself when it mattered, there was the occasional slip up but nothing like last year

Stoffel Vandoorne

 Knight of Swords

You are a sharp minded, idealistic and a great problem solver, but you have a tendency to be a little reckless and think his opinion is the only one that matters. These tendencies can serve you well this year but you need to separate the good from the bad.

Bust, Bust, Bust, if he’d followed this advice he’d still have a drive, wouldn’t have been beaten so soundly by Alonso and spent most of his time welded to the back of the grid.

Fernando Alonso

4 of Swords

This card means taking some R&R to decide what you are going to do next, it’s well known you’re going to compete in the WEC alongside F1 but you need to spend what off time you have resting so you can weigh up your options about what you want to do next.

I’d call this a win, he decided to call it a day in F1 (for now) and concentrate on the Triple Crown.

Lewis Hamilton

Knight of Wands

This Knight is an adventurous, fun loving, risk taker. A charismatic, confident person but with a short attention span which means he starts a lot of things, loses interest and then doesn’t bother finishing, he values adventure over common sense and needs a lot of stimulation to keep his mind on what he’s doing. This could be your undoing this year, you need to focus or you will be under threat from unexpected sources.

This is a win; I didn’t really need cards or a crystal ball to see this happening.

Valttari Bottas

2 of Wands

You have the power to choose for yourself what you do next with your life, you have a lot of creativity in you and now you must choose what you are going to do with it, do you go all out for yourself or support your team mate. It’s also a chance to look back at what you have achieved so far and choose if you want to stay on this path or take a new one.

I guess this came true towards the end of the season, but I don’t think he chose what he was going to do, it was chosen for him, by the team. NOW he must decide what path he needs to take before it’s decided for him, again.

Daniel Ricciardo

The Hanged Man R (jumped out when shuffling)

When upright this Major Arcana card shows surrender, sacrifice and waiting. Reversed this is saying you want none of that, you’re fed up with waiting and surrendering wins, positions and points, now you want to go out and get what is owed to you. This is saying, stop waiting and start doing.

This is a definite win, Dan go so fed up with Max and the team walking all over him, the car denying him wins, so he went to Renault to get a better deal.

Max Vestappen

10 of Cups

This is a card of Happy Ever After. You are feeling at home and that the team is your family, but don’t get lulled into a false sense of security, not everything has a fairytale ending.

This is a win also, I think, now that Dan is out of the way, the team is really his now, but he has to remember what happened to Seb when he got a young, ambitious team mate

Nico Hulkenberg

The Fool

This Major Arcana card signifies taking a leap of faith to start a new journey. I wouldn’t say having a new team and a new team mate is a new journey for you, but you have always been ‘Better’ than your team mate. Now that Carlos his your team mate and equal to you in talent, you will have to up the ante and perhaps take that leap of faith and do something unusual to put your mark on the championship.

Not sure about this, this could be more relevant to next year when the universally liked Dan joins the team. Two of the nicest guys in F1 in a team, could be interesting.

Carlos Sainz

7 of Swords R (jumped out when shuffling)

Upright this card is about manipulation, deception and theft. Reversed, I think this is saying all the dirty tricks mishaps and manipulation you feel you have suffered at the hands of previous teams and team mates will come to an end. This year will see you feeling that you are being treated fairly and feeling that now you are actually able to do your best and having it count for something.

I’d count this as a win, although not having his contract renewed was a bit like the upright card.

Marcus Ericsson

2 of Swords

This card is saying that you feel trapped, you’re only in the team because you bring in money, Pascal was the better driver, you haven’t scored a point for years. You need to break out of this feeling, it’s not a permanent state of affairs you have it within your heart and mind to break out and show what you’re made of.

This is also a win, Marcus showed that he was capable of being a good driver and scoring points, unfortunately this didn’t stop him losing his seat.

Charles Leclerc

Justice (Jumped out when shuffling)

This is a Major Arcana card, which means you need to take its message seriously. This card means exactly what it says on the tin, justice. Actions will have fair consequences, everything will fall into place and things will balance out. All in all, I think this means the faith Ferrari and Sauber have placed in your talent will be repaid. Cause and Effect is also part of the energy of this card, you actions will have far reaching effects, so make sure they are good.

WIN, WIN, WIN, Charles is destined for big things and he showed it this year, Rookie of the year, Kimi’s seat in Ferrari 75% of Sauber’s points. This is a huge win for Charles

Pierre Gasly

King of Wands

This King is adventurous, charismatic and passionate. He’s full of pizzazz and verve; he knows what he wants and how to get it. I think this will sum up your season nicely, you know what you want and how to get it.

I think this is a win too; he got the best of his team mate, scored a lot of points and got himself the Red Bull drive.

Brendan Hartley

3 of Pentacles

This card is all about teamwork, each person knowing what skills they need to bring to the project. This is what you need to work towards this year, knowing the right skills to bring to the team. You time in WEC will help tremendously, perhaps shaking the F1 mindset of the team to look elsewhere for that certain something to beat the others.

I wouldn’t call this a win; he never really fitted in and worked well in F1.

Lance Stroll

7 of Swords

Beware of deceit, theft and manipulation this season. You may feel that things aren’t what they seen with you ‘Misfortunes’ this year.

Not sure what to make of this, I think because the car was not the best and he’s the son of a rich man gifted the seat may have overshadowed some genuine talent somewhere.

Sergey Sirotkin

6 of Wands

This is a card of triumph, self confidence and praise. I think you will probably come out top in the battle with your team mate but beware you don’t become conceited; it’s a long fall from that high horse.

Apart from ‘Winning’ Sky’s Driver of the Year vote, Sergey’s been pretty invisible for most of the year, so more bust than win.

Abu Dhabi 2018 GP Tarot Reading

How did I do last time?

I think all in all it was a win, seeing as it was all about, it’s all over take a breath and think about next year.

Astrologically speaking it’s that time of year again, yes; Mercury is Retrograde for the last time in 2018 so look out for lots of computer and software problems, rants on the radio and Chinese whispers in the paddock.

The moon moves from Gemini into Cancer, which can see a lot of neediness and a need for security.

Neptune goes direct so this may lead to a bit more ‘Away with the fairies’ behaviour in the paddock.

With the moon squaring Chiron a lot of old childhood grievances may come back to haunt a few drivers, Chiron is also linked to Karma so now is a good time to get those grievances and childhood wounds attended to.

The moon is also in opposition to Saturn, the Lord of order and rules, so lots of emotional outbursts and battling against team orders and head butting of rules and barriers this weekend.

What can we expect to see in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – Queen of Swords

What to look out for – The Tower

Outcome – The World

My first thoughts when dealing out the cards was “Uh-oh, I don’t like the look of this”

Mood for the weekend: Queen of Swords

On the card, Queen Cersei sits on the Iron Throne.

The suit of Swords represents the element of air, which in turn shows us logic, communication and challenges. This is also a Court Card when can show people, of both sexes with these traits, as well as situations.

Traditionally, this card shows us a sharp, cold, cutting woman who doesn’t suffer fools gladly, she will cut you down to size with sharp words if she feels you do not meet her standards. She will also use her mind as well as her wit to get the better of you and make you feel three years old and an inch tall if you get on the wrong side of her (I had no idea my Mother was the Queen of Westeros.) Fans of the show can see why Cersei was chosen to represent this card.

Now that the crux of the season is over, the trophies have been handed out and the congratulations and been given, through gritted teeth, I think the recriminations are about to let fly, Ocon and Sirotkin both have a beef with all teams for not giving them a drive this year. Max, Vettel, Kimi, Marcus, Stoffel and Carlos for not doing a better job and so on.

And of course the fan’s have plenty to complain about, the cold, cutting remarks of the Queen of Swords will be heard long after the GP is finished, unless Ser Gregor  Clegane gets out and does Cersei’s bidding, silencing her critics.

What to look out for: The Tower

On the card, we see the old ruined tower at Winterfell that Jamie Lannister pushed Bran Stark from, at the bottom; looking up to the top is Summer, Bran’s pet wolf. The Sky around the tower is streaked with red.

This is a Major Arcana card; its message is powerful to you.

This card has a rather grim warning, a shocking event; sudden change and chaos are traditional meanings for this card. Something will happen that will shake the F1 world to its core, it’s foundations will crumble and the whole house will crumble and fall, However, there is good news in all this chaos, you can rebuild on firmer foundations and start again, taking what has been learned before and  making sure the same mistakes aren’t made again.

I can’t say what this situation may be, or even if will be as bad as I fear, but something will shake the foundations of F1 this weekend.

Outcome: The World

On the card, The map of Westeros is surrounded the sigil animals of the four main Westerosi families, the Lion of the Lannisters, the Stag of the Baratheons, the Dragon of the Targaryens and the Direwolf of the Starks.

This is a Major Arcana card, this symbolises the importance of the answer to this question.

This is the last card in the Major Arcana and it symbolises the end of a cycle. It’s time to move on from the previous part of your life, you’ve put all the pieces in place, you’ve overcome the trials and challenges set before you and you’ve succeeded and now it’s  time to leave all that behind and choose your next path.

The season is ending so this card is a natural, but coming on the heels of The Tower, I think the events of the Tower will be the ending of a cycle in F1 and will lead to a new one, one that is needed for F1 to move forward.

Summary:

There is now getting away from the uneasy feeling the Tower gives this reading, something big is coming and there is no getting away from the chaos that the card will bring, but it will bring a new opportunity for F1 to rebuild itself on firmer foundations and for a new cycle to start anew.

Brazil GP 2018 Tarot Reading

What can we expect to see in the Brazilian Grand Prix?

How did I do Last Time?

I think everyone knew that Lewis was going to win the WDC in Mexico, so I’ll chalk that up as a win.

Astrologically speaking, with the moon moving from Sagittarius to Capricorn, there is going to be a calm and controlling feeling in the paddock this weekend. Two major planets have moved signs this week, Uranus, the planet of revolution, anarchy has retrograded back into Aries for a few months this can us becoming unpredictable, disruptive and having an urge for independence, and seeking change, this could see the FIA tightening their reigns.

Jupiter moves into its own sign of Sagittarius this means a year of optimism, luck and a change of wild exaggeration, so look out for a lot of posturing during Pre Season Testing.

Mood for the weekend – Four of Swords

What to look out for – Ten of Coins

Outcome – Strength

Mood for the weekend: Four of Swords

On the card, we see the body of a soldier laying at rest and being attended by one of the Silent Sisters, a order is ‘Nun’s’, for the want of a better description, who are in service of The Stranger, a deity of the Seven. They prepare the dead for burial.

The suit of Swords represents the element of air, as well as logic, communication and challenges.

Traditionally this card represents a need for rest, recuperation, contemplation and reflection.

I think this card is saying, it’s all done now, it’s time to reflect on what went wrong and how to come back stronger next year. It’s time to let go of this season and concentrate on next, contemplate on how you can learn from this year’s mistakes and learn from them.

What to look out for: Ten of Coins

On the card, a table is ladened with food for the wedding feast of King Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell. Ten coins bearing the sigil of the House of Tyrell decorates the backdrop to the table, which shows who really paid for the wedding.

The suit of Coins represents the element of earth, which is turn shows us this suit also represents, career, family, money, home, garden, the material things in life.

This card show us that all your hard work will start to pay dividends, all the money and prestige you worked hard for will make you comfortable, the love you have for family will blossom and you will live in comfort and love for the rest of your days.

That says it all really, the big three don’t have to worry any more, they’ve made the top three in the championship and the money is secure. However, the positions in the championship are still up for grabs and from positions four to ten are also being hotly contested, there is all still to play for.

Outcome: Strength

On the card, Brienne of Tarth gazes into space. In her hand is her sword, Oathkeeper.

This is a Major Arcana card; this means that this card and its answer is very important in the reading.

The image on this card in traditional decks is a woman subduing a lion with a pat on the head rather than brute strength, this card is saying you don’t need that brute strength at this time; you need a more gentle strength to get you through this weekend. You don’t need to roar at the world any more, you need to take things easier from now on.

Summary:

This reading has a feeling of, relax, it’s all over, take it easy and forget all about the competition. Of course, only the drivers’ championship has been finalized and it’s all still to play for in the constructors. Personally, I’m thinking this is a warning to all the teams not to take their eye off the ball, just because Lewis is champion, Mercedes and Lewis had better not let their guard down, as we’ve seen in the past, and let Ferrari build up the deficit of points they need to win the Constructors Championship.

Mexico 2018 GP Tarot Reading

How did I do Last Time

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to do a reading for the USGP so I can’t say.

Astrologically speaking, With the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and a retrograde Venus all in Scorpio, paranoia will run rampant in the paddock and things best left buried may come to the surface.

What can we expect to see in the Mexico Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – Eight of Swords

What to look out for – Ten of Coins

Outcome – Ace of Coins

Mood for the weekend: Eight of Swords

On the card, Brienne of Tarth is sitting under a tree imprisoned by swords, her sword; Oathkeeper is outside, just out of reach.

The suit of Swords represents the element of air as well as logic, communication and challenges.

Traditionally this card is all about feeling trapped, possibly by circumstances you made and blaming those circumstances on your problems instead of trying to move forward. I have a feeling that this is a feeling being felt up and down the paddock, Seb believing the WDC is over and done with, even though there is a slim hope he can still be successful. Dan believing that his luck can’t get any worse, or can it. Esteban believing that all he has left is a test driver role. However, they can break out of this, the wall of swords encasing Brienne can easily be broken so she can escape, but it’s easier to sit there and wail, “Woe is me”. Seb, Dan and Esteban have to gather what strength they have left, break out of the self-imposed prison, grab a sword and yell charge, if they want to, that is.

What to look out for: Ten of Cups

Personally, I think this is showing Lewis will win his 5th WDC this weekend. Unless Seb takes the advice of the first, card and doesn’t give up the fight.

Outcome: Ace of Coins

On the card, a coin is held in a pair of hands, it is the iron coin Jaqen H’ghar gave Arya Stark as a guarantee of safe passage to Braavos and the House of Black and White.

The suit of coins (or pentacles) represents the element of earth; this in turn shows us the material world, home, money, family, career and the actual earth.

Aces are a chance to sow seeds and nurture them into success. Now is the time for lot of teams to start work on next year’s car, so now that the WDC and Constructers Championships are pretty much in the bag a lot of effort and resourses are being diverted into next year’s projects.

This card has appeared a lot over the season and a lot of the time it has pointed to Silent, Invisible Partners in teams and it still could, a lot of teams are still courting sponsors, so stand by for sponsorship announcements this weekend.

Summary:

Don’t give up is the underlying message of the first card, there is still points available for Seb to stop Lewis winning his 5th WDC this weekend, if he wants to, but the second card seems to think Lewis’ winning is a foregone conclusion. The final card seems to back this up by suggesting that everyone else has given up and is concentrating on development for 2019.

An Insight into Ferrari 2019

What can we see happening with Vettel, Leclerc and Ferrari next year?

Vettel’s POV – Five of Swords

Charles POV – Eight of Coins

Ferrari’s POV – Three of Coins

Outcome – The Magician

Vettel’s POV: Five of Swords

On the card, Bran Stark hands over Winterfell to Theon Greyjoy and his army

The suit of Swords represents the element of air, as well as communication, challenges and logic.

This card has several meanings, defeat, self-defeat, winning at all costs and unfair victory, in Vettel’s case I think all of these will show up next year. I think Charles could very well show Vettel up for not being the driver he thinks he is which will lead Vettel into making mistakes and accepting quite early on in the season. Along with some questionable tactics and red mist descending next year could very well be one Vettel would rather forget.

As Bran handed Winterfell over to Theon Greyjoy and the Iron Born, Vettel may very well hand over his number one status to Charles, but not without a fight, by fair means and foul.

Leclerc’s POV: Eight of Coins

On the card, a smith in the street of steel is making shields displaying the sigil of the Faith of the Seven.

The suit of coins represents the element of earth, showing us the energies of the material world, money, family, career, possessions and the actual earth.

This is a card of apprentiship, craft honing and hard work. This year will be a learning curve for Charles, a change to hone his craft and work diligently to learn from the best so he can put everything he’s learned into practice to achieve the goal of being the best that he can be.

This card is saying that Charles may not be a world-beater yet, he’s going to need to work hard to knock himself into shape, learn his own tricks of the trade and work hard, when he’s done all this, he may very well be the new Schumacher.

Ferrari’s POV

On the card, the half-built Sept being constructed by Septon Ray, The Hound and local villagers stands on a hillside.

This is a card of teamwork, listening to criticism and suggestions, things for which Ferrari are not known. Ferrari need  to learn how to work together for the best outcome, it’s all very well pointing fingers when mistakes happen and saying it’s their fault but to beat Mercedes the whole team must work together, accept responsibility together and learn together. No one part of Ferrari can make it work by themselves the mantra of “There is no I in team” works both ways, no one person is bigger than the team, but the team needs to be a team and work together through the good and bad.

Outcome: The Magician

On the card, the figure on the card is Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish, standing in his brothel. Behind him, on a red, shelved wall are the suit symbols, the Sword is represented by Catspaw, the Valyrian steel dagger that was used to try to kill Bran Stark after his fall and ultimately caused Littlefinger’s downfall at the hands of the Stark children. As well as the suit symbols is the infinity symbol and the necklace he used to frame Sansa Stark for Joffrey’s murder, there is also a raven and scroll, information is key to Littlefinger’s machinations. On his coat is a broach of a Mockingbird. A Mockingbird imitates the sounds of other birds and animals and this is Littlefinger all over, changing his tune to suit his ends.

This is a Major Arcana card, its message is important in this reading.

Traditionally, the Magician stands for using everything at his fingertips to get what he wants and he will get what he wants, by fair means or foul, he is also a trickster which is Littlefinger all over.

Ferrari has everything at their fingertips to finally get that constructors championship and make the magic it is famous for but something is not quite working, could there be a Littlefinger in their midst, someone whispering in ears, strategically manoeuvring himself into a position of power where he can make himself powerful?

There is something ‘Off’ about Ferrari’s troubles in the latter half of the season, which is making me, think a trickster is at work. Ferrari need a complete overhaul of personnel, idea’s, practices and innovations, they can’t keep hiding behind the Ferrari name and their former reputation, they need to move with the times, all the pieces are in place, they just need to know how to use them properly and weed out the troublemakers. The infinity symbol is very telling I believe, because if they don’t take steps to match Mercedes’ way of working  and mindset for winning at all costs, the mistakes that are being made year in and year out are just going to keep coming back to bite them.

Summary:

Vettel is going to get a feeling of Déjà Vu next year, he’ll wonder if he’s back in 2014 when his new teammate ran rings round him and he could do nothing to get the magic that he once had over the team back. He may very well have to admit defeat and realise that maybe he’s not the driver he once was, if he ever was that good.

For Charles this will be a year to hone his craft and learn from those around him so that  it will be a learning curve with flashes of what is to come. The message from the Eight of Coins is work diligently, work hard, learn with everything at hand and build up your portfolio. Use this year to learn everything possible, because in the future you could very well be unstoppable.

Ferrari have to get all departments and everyone working together to make their dreams come true, they already win together but they need to learn to lose together. It’s very easy to point fingers but you need to find out where the problem is together and fix it together, all that finger pointing and “It’s your fault” put backs up and alienates people more than bring them together. They must unite to build for next year.

When all this is in place the Ferrari will have everything in place to make things work in  their favour and get what they want and feel they deserve. However, beware, there is a voice whispering in ears, someone putting a spanner in the works and manipulating things to make manoeuvre himself into a position of power.

Japan GP 2018 Tarot Reading

How did I do last time?

Well James Vowells and Toto Wolff certainly spun the wheel of fortune for poor Valtteri last week and to some degree for Vettel too, so I think it did come true, but not in the way I thought.

Astrologically speaking, this weekend sees a waning moon in Virgo leading to criticism for not living up to expectations, analysis and a need to feel valued.

What can we expect to see in the Japanese Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – Nine of Swords

What to look out for – Ace of Cups

Outcome – Knight of Coins

Mood of the weekend: Nine of Swords

On the card, Robb Stark’s direwolf Grey Wind is trapped in a cage at The Twins, before The Red Wedding.

The suit of Swords represents the element of air, which shows us logic, communication and challenges.

The traditional meaning of this card is a feeling of nightmares, being overwhelmed, trapped in situation that you can’t work your way out of.

What I think we have here is someone, or more than one person feeling trapped in a situation that he can’t see a way out of, Vettel, Ocon, Claire Williams, Bottas, Kimi, it could be any of these or all of them. It’s getting towards the business end of the season and sacrifices have to be made, as seen last week, now decisions have to be made, do I keep playing this game or do I escape by saying “What the hell, I’ve got nothing to lose, let’s show them what they’re missing”. This card is saying you need to think carefully about how you got into this mess and how you’re going to get out of it, always assuming you want to escape.

Grey Wind knows his capture is not going to end well but that still doesn’t squash his primal instinct of attack and escape and this is what needs to go ahead in the paddock, attack and escape or you’re going to be stuck in this nightmare for a long time. As any watcher of the show knows, what comes next is not going to be pleasant, The Red Wedding.

What to look out for: Ace of Cups

On the card, the cup is the wedding goblet given to Joffrey and Margaery by Mace Tyrell.

The suit of Cups represents the element of water, which, in turn, shows us emotions and intuition.

Traditionally this card shows the beginnings of a relationship, an emotional fresh start as well as the awakening of intuition.

Following on from the last card, this is saying that breaking out of the nightmarish situation you found yourself in lately, you can look forward to a brand new start, emotionally and intuitively. Like Margaery, who found herself in a nightmare situation of being married to Joffrey until fate (and her Grandmother) intervened and Joffrey dropped dead at his wedding feast. She dealt with the inconvenience of her husband dropping dead by marrying his brother, therefore still becoming Queen. Now I’m not saying to get out of your current situation you should poison your rival with The Strangler, but use your initiative and take advantage of any problems they are experiencing to promote yourself and don’t accept any invitations to any weddings.

Outcome: Knight of Coins

On the card, Brienne of Tarth sits on her horse holding a coin with the sigil of the Faith of the Seven on it.

The suit of coins, or pentacles, represents the element of earth, this also shows us the material world, money, career, family, home and the actual earth.

Traditionally this card is about practical dependability, loyalty hard work and caution.

I’m thinking that after the turmoil of the first card, the realisation of what you can be rather than what others want you to be of the second card, this card is saying that you are going to be a loyal, reliable person that people can trust. You may not be the most exciting driver in the world but trustworthy, which is possibly why you feel people are walking all over you, but that is your greatest strength, you just have to find out who deserves your loyalty and trust rather than give it to someone who will abuse it.

Brienne of Tarth is a very loyal and dependable knight, she kept her word to Caitlyn Stark to protect her daughters, she was loyal to Renly Baratheon, even avenging his death by executing Stannis and her trust in Jaime Lannister is unwavering. She may not be the most beautiful woman in the world or the most exciting but she certainly is the most dependable and this is what you need to show. You may not be as charismatic and rich as Lewis, as flamboyant as Max, as gobby as Kevin, as talented as Charles and as pragmatic as Seb but you are loyal and trustworthy, which is worth so much more.

Summary:

Now that the fallout from Russia is settling, a lot of serious contemplation is going on in the paddock. Someone, or several someone’s have decided they have had enough of the nightmarish situation they’re in and they want to break free (put that hoover away please) and start again. By doing this, you can become that loyal, dependable person that you know you can be, without feeling like a doormat and having people walk all over you like they have done in the past. And again, don’t accept any wedding invitations, weddings in Westeros do not end well; ask Robb Stark and King Joffrey.

Russia GP 2018 Tarot Reading

How did I do last time?

Well with the seismic changes in grid for next year all the predictions of major change is coming true, it’s not just in Singapore I predicted this but all through the year it’s been predicted so, yes, a lot of wins here.

Astrologically speaking, with the moon in Gemini moodiness will be rife so a lot of snapping at team personnel and media this weekend. Some Away With The Fairies moments will be seen as the Moon squares Neptune, anger will ensue if reality gets in the way of dreamland.

What can we expect to see in the Russian Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – 3 of Swords

What to look out for – Ten of Coins

Outcome – Wheel of Fortune

Mood for the weekend: Three of Swords

On the card, three swords, Longclaw, Oathkeeper and Widows Wail, pierce a flaming heart of R’hillor, the Lord of Light; the background shows clouds and snow.

Swords represent the element of air, which shows us logic, communication and challenges

The meaning of this card is pretty much what is says on the picture, stabbed in the heart, heartbreak and betrayal. This emotion is most prevalent this weekend, Ocon, Kimi, Ericsson among those who are feeling heartbroken and betrayed by their teams but it’s not just those who have been sidelined by their teams and the sport that are feeling, I think the outcome of this race will leave someone further up the grid feeling heartbroken and betrayed. Vettel needs to win all six of the remaining races to have a chance of winning the WDC, if Ferrari fucks up again this weekend, it will be a stab in the heart for Vettel.

What to look out for: Ten of Coins

On the card, a table is ladened with food for the wedding feast of King Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell. Ten coins bearing the sigil of the Hose of Tyrell decorates the backdrop to the table, which shows who really paid for the wedding.

The suit of Coins represents the element of earth, which is turn shows us this suit also represents, career, family, money, home, garden, the material things in life.

This card show us that all your hard work will start to pay dividends, all the money you worked hard for will make you comfortable, the love you have for family will blossom and you will live in comfort and love for the rest of your days, so what does this have to do with F1 I hear you ask? Well, personally, I think that coming after the Three of Swords, this card is the flip side, if Vettel is the Three of Swords, this card is Lewis, if he wins this weekend he’s pretty much wrapped up this year’s WDC and with a 5th win he’s made for life, he could retire and never have to work again.

Outcome: Wheel of Fortune

On the card, a wooden wheel, with the sun shining behind it, shows carvings of the four sigils of the four prominent Westerosi families on the outside. On one of the spokes is perched a mockingbird, the symbol of Littlefinger.

This is a major Arcana card; it shows us the answer in this card is very important to the reading.

This race is very much in the hands of fate. In the previous cards, I have explained what I believe the cards mean this card is going to throw a spanner in the works. As I explained, the first card could possibly spell the end of Vettel’s WDC hopes and the second could be what happens if Lewis wins, but with the Wheel of Fortune, none of this matters, it’s now up to fate to spin that wheel and sees where it lands to see what happens to Lewis and Vettel’s ambitions. With the hand of Littlefinger being shown, someone might give fate a helping hand. Could this be another Singapore 08 or will Kimi and Bottas get in on the act.

Summary:

The first 2 cards show us what will happen if Lewis win’s this race but the final card is the most important, it shows us that, no matter how well prepared you are, or what you think you know or what you can control when fate spins that wheel of fortune, stand by for trouble. Basically, what this reading is saying, Lewis is on a roll and if he wins this weekend, the WDC is virtually his. Vettel goes into this weekend very much on the back foot and has so much to lose that this may be praying on his mind, But it’s not over yet, fate will have a hand in this weekend’s outcome.

How did I do last time?

I think is was pretty much a win, Kimi got his Justice with Seb spinning and not being in a position to take the podium away from him, Mercedes were able to celebrate the win after being on the back foot all weekend and Seb feeling the victim after qualifying. Astrologically speaking, with the Moon in Sagittarius a feeling of restlessness, impulsivness and independance may be seen on race day. With the Moon squaring Mercury, emotional outbursts over the radio may be in evidence too this weekend as well as being emotionally away with the fairies and tantrum throwing if real life interfears with their daydreams with the Moon also squaring Neptune.

What can we expect to see in the Singapore Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – The World

What to look out for – Judgement

Outcome – Ten of Cups

Mood for the Weekend: The World

Things are ending so new era’s can start, as seen by Ferrari finally removing that semi permanent stain called Kimi so that they can give Charles Leclerc a chance to show the world what he can do in a top car. In addition, Lando Norris joins the grid but on the flip side, there seems to be no space for Esteban Ocon. This is the third time this card has shown up in the last four races; new beginnings are now starting to show up. The grid has been stagnant for a number of seasons; finally, things are starting to move forward.

What to look out for: Judgement

On the card, the Night King stands on the pier at Hardhome, his arms are aloft and the dead are rising to join him in battle.

This is also a Major Arcana card, the answer is important to this reading.

In Christianity, judgement day is when the dead rise and we have to give an account of ourselves and our action before God. This card says pretty much the same thing, except it’s not God we have to answer to, it’s ourselves.

Someone is going to have to take a long hard look at look at themselves and answer some tough questions about where their life is going, how things are progressing and have they done the best for themselves, the team and their career. If they can answer honestly then there is a chance to move on to the next phase, if something needs to be revisited and remodelled, you need to have the courage to try again. If you’ve done everything to the best of your ability and you can review your career, so far, honestly, you are now able to move down the next path. (Could this be Seb?)

Outcome: Ten of Cups

On the card, ten candles flicker in the Stark family crypt representing the dead of the family.

The suit of Cups represents the element of water; this in turn shows up emotions and intuition.

Traditionally, this card represents happy ever after, although happiness and the Stark family don’t often go hand in hand, it represents happy families and settling down.

I think this is saying, with all the changes on the grid, new drivers in new teams, rookies looking to make a name for themselves, people are going to find the happiness they’ve been looking for and have been missing in their previous teams. For those that have been longing for stability, happiness and a sense of belonging, the move to new teams will be just what they’ve been looking for.

Summary:

The World card shows up again and over the last couple of weeks and this time it’s beginning to show its power, change is coming to a grid that has been stagnant for a few years. Talented youngsters are finally being given a chance to show what they’re made of, except Ocon maybe. However, some of the more established drivers may have to take a long, hard look at themselves in the mirror now and ask themselves “Have I got what it takes to take on these young drivers on equal terms.” With all the shuffling of drivers, a lot of them I think will find something they have been missing in their old teams, a sense of belonging, family and harmony.

Italy GP 2018 Tarot Reading

What can we expect to see in the Italian Grand Prix?

How did I do last time?

On a number of fronts I got it right, Ferrari beat Mercedes is a straight fight showing they have the better car, Lawrence Stroll got his team so that his son can have a better car and damn the consequences, so all in all it ticks a lot of boxes.

Astrologically speaking, there is not a lot going on in the heavens this weekend, The Moon moves from Taurus to Gemini, so there will be a lot of talk, whispers and insinuation this weekend. With the Moon in Trine with Mars charged emotions will be put to good use.

Mood for the weekend – Four of Cups

What to look out for – Three of Cups

Outcome – Justice

Mood of the Weekend: Four of Cups

On the card, Sansa Stark is sitting under the Weirwood Tree in the Godswood, she is staring at three goblets in front of her, she is ignoring the goblet being offered to her by Littlefinger.

The suit of Cups represents the element of water; this shows us emotions and intuition.

Traditionally, this card indicates dissatisfaction, indifference, boredom and general ‘Meh’. There is a need to withdraw from an emotional situation, take some time out to regroup and contemplate your next move. You also need to remember that your answers are out there for you to find, don’t wallow in ‘Poor Me’ and victim mentality, accept help and inspiration when it is put in front of you.

Sansa could have wallowed in self-pity and victim mentality, God knows the poor girl suffered enough throughout her life, but instead she learned the lessons Littlefinger was teaching her, to fight her battles in her head before putting them into practice. Working out how to get what she wanted and boy did she learn those lessons well, a little too well as Ramsey Bolton and Littlefinger will attest. I’m not saying you should get your little sister to slit your mentor’s throat or feed you ex to his dogs, but even your worst enemy can teach you valuable lessons.

What to look out for: Three of Cups

On the card, three glasses are raised in salute, we can’t see whom the glasses belong to but they seem to be good friends and are toasting something.

Traditionally this card shows celebrations with a group of close friends. This card shows itself again this weekend so celebrations are in order, for what I don’t know, getting one over on your rivals is niggling at me. This has been rumbling through the paddock all year and last week, Ferrari had much to celebrate by beating Mercedes fair and square, as did Force India, relinquishing their points then scoring well in their first race under new ownership. So celebrate any victory, big or small this weekend.

Outcome: Justice

On the card, Ned Stark sits on the Iron Throne, above him hangs the scales of justice and his hand rests on his family sword, Ice. He is troubled.

This is a Major Arcana card, it shows us that the message of this card is very important to the answers you’re seeking.

This card does exactly what it says on the tin, you are going to get the justice you deserve. Your actions will have fair consequences and everything will fall into place. The Truth will catch up with liars and cheats and responsible people will be fairly compensated. This could very well be rolling over from last week, there were many accusations of ‘Trickery’ and underhandedness being voiced through the paddock but those accusations will be sorted out fairly this weekend. Cause and Effect is also a meaning for this card, so if you are going to go running to the FIA or the stewards to tell tales, be very careful, it may come back and bite you on the arse if they start poking into your affairs. As Ned Stark said, “Let he who passes sentence swing the sword”, just be very careful whom you say it to, remember what happened to Ned when he sought justice.

Summary:

There is a feeling of ‘Meh’ around the paddock this weekend, a lot of people are dissatisfied with their lot, but they seem to be happier blaming themselves, other people and life in general that actually doing something about it (Mercedes and Williams to name two.) They need to go back to their base and work out how to get themselves out of the hole they’re in and not bleat at the media about “It’s not our fault, it’s theirs”. Look for a way out and accept offers to help you out, although with Littlefinger doing the offering on the card, be very careful whose help you accept, it may cost you more than you’re prepared to pay. Look out for reasons to celebrate, whether it’s a new contract or a great quail or winning your home race, raise that glass high.

Justice is going to come for someone, it may not be for something that happened this week but something that is long overdue will sort itself out in your favour this weekend. On the flip side, it could be that someone who has been sailing a fine line and exploiting grey areas in the rules will get what is coming to them and it won’t be pretty, they will face the full weight of the law.

How did I do Last time?

Well I nailed that one didn’t I, I just got the name wrong. All the cards pointed to someone making a huge change to enable them to further their career and ultimately get what they want, then Danny Ric drops his bombshell, and I seriously doubt ANYONE (even me) saw that one coming

Astronomically speaking, yet another full moon on Sunday in another water sign, this time it’s Pisces, a time for wet blankets to become wetter. Pisces is a sign that is ‘Away with the Fairies’, emotional, head in the clouds, in touch with the spirit world and with a love of all things esoteric (No I’m not a Pisces I’m a Feet-On-The-Ground Virgo, with a lot going on in my 12th House, it’s a looooong story.) Therefore, with emotions on high alert, there may seem to be a cloud over the paddock this weekend and a lot of bemoaning of things not being fair along with flashes of inspiration and help from ‘On High’ (#Blessed.)

What can we expect to see in the Belgian Grand Prix?

Mood for the weekend – Thee of Spears

What to look out for – 3 of Cups

Outcome – The World

Mood for the Weekend: Thee of Spears

On the card, Petyr ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish watches ships massing in the bay before the Battle of Blackwater.

The suit of Spears represents the element of fire, representing creativity, Joie de Vive, self-will and pizzazz.

This card shows us that you’re close to setting everything in motion to making your dreams come true. Your plans are beginning to take shape and you are starting to put them into practice to get what it is you really want from life. With the figure in the card being Littlefinger, be warned, if someone is making these plans for you, or is involving you in their plans; be very careful, they may not have your best interests at heart.

What to look out for: Three of Cups

On the card, three glasses are raised in salute, we can’t see who the glasses belong to but they seem to be good friends and are toasting something.

The suit of Cups represents the element of water; this shows us emotions and intuition.

Traditionally this card shows celebrations with a group of close friends, I think there will be celebrations this weekend maybe it’s someone’s first win of the season, sealing a dream drive breaking a record, who know, there are lots of reasons to celebrate, so grab your friends and open that champagne.

This card showed itself in Hungary, where is turned out to point to Danny Ric, this time it’s the outcome card, so someone has been putting pieces in place to get whatever it is they want, the celebrations are being planned and now the plan is in place and working for you. Therefore, it’s time to start making your plans work and get the next part in place to work for you. Force India and Lance Stroll maybe?

Summary:

This reading is telling a definite story, pieces have been put into place and you are about to put them in motion, when things are set in motion there will be cause for celebrations and this will mean that your deeds are done and it’s time to get the longer term plans in motion.

This can be any situation but the more I look at it the more I’m drawn to the idea of Lawrence Stroll taking over Force India, with Littlefinger being the figure on the card, someone is working to help themselves rather than for the good of other people, which points me further in this direction. Of course, I could be wrong; I was last time.
